ClaptonClapton Head

Clapton is a handsome 5-6 month old light tan and black male. He came as a stray out of a local shelter, so nothing is known about his background. Judging by his looks and high-energy personality, our best guess is that he may be mixed with Belgian Malinois.

He meets other large dogs easily, and will be happiest in a home with another confident, playful dog who can show him the ropes. He is much more reserved when meeting new people and takes a little time to show his sweet, affectionate side. He adapted fairly quickly to his foster home, but will need more socialization to be comfortable outside the home.

Everything seems new to this boy. He is learning to use the doggie door and is well on his way to being housebroken. He is also learning basic commands and not to counter surf! Being a typical puppy, he needs supervision and boundaries. He is still learning that his humans do not need to be herded and their hands are not chew toys, so a home with small children is not recommended.

Clapton sleeps quietly in his crate at night and walks well on the leash if he is with another dog.

His energy level will require daily exercise and activity, but with continued socialization and training he will be an ideal companion for an active individual or family.

Cats and small dogs are unknown.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires.
