Chula Raye is a pretty 10-12 month old female who was surrendered to the Sacramento SPCA for being too big for an apartment. She appears to be housebroken and generally doesn't chewanything inappropriate. She is working on learning manners, to no jump on people or furniture.
Chula is low key for a young GSD; she likes playingfetch but is also content to hang out quietly. She knows Sit, but is working on being more consistent and learning other basic commands. She does noet appear to be very food-motivated. She does alright on leash. She responded well to the Gentle Leader, and once you get going on a walk she settles in nicely. But she is very easily distracted by any noise, or other people or animals.
Chula loves people, and she gets along with easy-going dogs. She does not get along well with other dominant dogs and has not learned to back down, and is well on the way to maturing into a very bossy female.
This dog is a Level 3 Dog!
Adoption Fee on this dog is $300.
We require a home visit by one of our volunteers.
We adopt to the North Bay, Greater Sacramento area, Central Valley down to Merced, and parts of the East Bay, resources permitting. Regrettably, we are unable to return phone calls from outside those areas.
