Calvin

Calvin is a goofy, lovable 8 month old longcoat male with one floppy ear. He was an unclaimed stray so nothing is known about his background. Calvin is a little on the thin side at about 60 lbs, and definitely needs to grow into his feet.

Calvin is currently living with another young male and female shepherd. He has a great time playing with them. He has also been introduced to cats, and scampers after them, but just wants to play. Calvin may be able to live with cats in a supervised environment.

Although Calvin has no formal training, he appears to have lived inside, and is housebroken. He rides nicely in the car, and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. He does still jump up and is mouthy, so may be too much for small children. Calvin is very curious about the big wide world and likes to go places and explore new things.

Calvin would like a home that will include him in daily activities, and that will continue his socialization and training. He would be ok as an only dog, but would really like a buddy to play with.
