Baird

Baird is a three to four year old gorgeous sable male. He is on the smaller size at about 65-70lbs. He was an unclaimed stray from a local area shelter so nothing is known about his background.

Baird is a happy boy full of energy and loves attention. He is currently living with 2 shepherd sisters and 2 shepherd brothers in a large yard. He gets along great with everyone, and is usually running around the yard with his young sister.

Baird knows how to use a dog door, the basic sit command, and comes when you call him. He still needs a bit of work, but shows great potential to learn. He walks well on a leash, but does pull a little bit. Baird also rides nicely in a car. He loads up by himself and settles down in the back seat nicely.

It would not appear that Baird was bathed or brushed very often. He was pretty good with a bath, and the first time he brushed he was a bit nervous, but now seems to like it. He will whimper a little and mouth / lick my hand and the brush.

Baird has seen goats, hens, sheep, and horses, and he doesn't seem to even pay any attention to them. We have not seen him with cats.
