Adam

Adam is a well-built, 2 year old male, black and tan with a red tint. He's medium-sized with a moderate energy level. He was an unclaimed stray from Fairfield. 
 
Adam is very sweet, and plays well with other dogs of both genders so far. He likes to be in the thick of things, and wants to make sure he gets his share of attention given to other dogs. He will definitely do better if he has another dog buddy to play with, so a home with another dog is a must! 
 
This boy has strong prey drive, so he is not cat-friendly. He needs to learn house manners and most basic commands. While he may have some concept of what to do, he hasn't learned the importance of following the commands yet. He will alert when someone approaches the house, but instead of barking, he waits at the door or looks out the window. He also scratches at the door when he wants to go outside. 
 
While he sleeps loose in the house at night and doesn't bother anything, he is learning crate training. He will ride quietly in a crate in a vehicle, and he spends a little time throughout the day in the crate.

Adoption Fee on this dog is $300.
We require a home visit by one of our volunteers.
We adopt to the North Bay, Greater Sacramento area, Central Valley down to Merced, and parts of the East Bay, resources permitting. Regrettably, we are unable to return phone calls from outside those areas.
